For Teachers and Group Leaders

Download the following flyer to learn about the Kentucky Faith & Public History Education Project. Then use the form below to contact us about arranging a field trip for your class or group. Field trips to a camp meeting are always free. All you need to do is arrange the transportation to Paris, Kentucky, and bring a picnic lunch. A field trip to the Walking Trail & Arboretum takes just under three hours, including time for a picnic.

The following flyer is about the Walking Trail and the participatory Eye-Spy game that is free and open to the public daily during day-light hours.

Arrange a Field Trip (Register now for a Kentucky Christian History Field Trip starting August 2022)

Kentucky Christian History field trips start with a guided walk around the trail. At each of seven stations, your students will be introduced using text and historic images and photographs to facts about the Christian religion. They will each discover the story of a famous Kentucky Christian using the Eye-Spy game. Then, the students will do a series of five-minute activities – games, STEM challenges, crafts- derived from the life and times of one of the 30 famous Kentucky Christians featured on the Eye-Spy game. Bring a sack lunch to eat in our picnic area and bring some money for souvenirs.

Please use this form to let us know that you want to arrange a Kentucky Christian History field trip for your class or group. After your field trip is scheduled, we will email you a lesson and a student worksheet that you can use to prepare your class for what they will experience here. Following your field trip, we will email you a link so you and your students can evaluate their learning. You can get more information by calling 859-987-5407 or emailing us at kyfaithpublichistory@kyfph20
